The Journey of Pam Llaury in the Blogging and Fashion Industry

The Journey of Pam Llaury in the Blogging and Fashion Industry

An online PR strategy that generates consumer interest is integral for a successful marketing plan. The strategy raises awareness and, when executed correctly, can drive consumers to make purchases. You cannot achieve solid brand recognition without blogging and influencer marketing. Pam Llaury is one such entrepreneur, blogger, author and lifestyle influencer who has years of blogging experience under the belt. She is all about living the dream life and empowering others to feel motivated. Her social media accounts are full of fashion, travel, and lifestyle content. She is one of the few Latin celebrities who has become the talk of the town lately. She has a large following, not only in China but in the global blogging community.

Analysing the Consumer Behaviour

According to Pam, consumers typically do business with brands they trust, and personalized public relations is just one way to get the attention of potential customers. A positive media mention can do wonders for public relations. The result is repetitive sales and exponential growth in brand equity. It then results in brand recognition, credibility, and trusted consumer relationships. It is why bloggers are so influential nowadays.

Doing Business in China

Pam opened her clothing brand, Bendita, recently in the pandemic when she got stuck in Peru. It was going pretty well as she was putting into use all the techniques she had learned over the passage of her career, but Pam decided to leave it behind in Peru as she departed for China once the global borders opened up a bit. Pam also manages an import-export company, doing business with industries and brands in Peru and China. She mainly deals in sourcing jewellery for different brands and her private clients. All this while, she has also climbed the corporate ladder quite a few steps; she is working as a Brand Manager for a well-reputed skincare company.

The Blogging Lifestyle

Pam has always been a firm believer in being original to her fans. She is not very convinced of the extravagance that most social media influencers use nowadays. It not only screams deception but also spreads a false image of yours in the common masses. She always tries to spread positivity, encouraging people to do what they love and be themselves. Acknowledging this simplicity and genuineness, in 2021, the Shanghai Blogger Club Community invited her to share the stage with two other famous influencers.

She started her blog, thepamblog, back in 2016. Initially, she used it to convey her thoughts and opinions on different topics, like fashion, lifestyle, and travel. Later it attracted the attention of several brands, and from there, her PR career took off. She has notched up her Instagram game over the past couple of years. She makes sure that all her posts convey some message to the audience without being too wordy or pretentious.

The Struggle

Pam did not always have an easy life. A native of Peru, she was born on August 15, 1987, in Lima, but she grew up in Trujillo. Her father was a civil engineer, while her mother was an architect. Growing up, she had a brother and a sister. When it came to higher education and choosing a career path, Pam decided to go for Industrial Engineering. In 2017, she decided to specialize and secured admission to an MS program at Istituto Marangoni, China, in Luxury Brand management and marketing. It was back then when Pam started working with different Chinese brands. She has collaborated with AliExpress, Taobao, and many other renowned names. It gave her a lot of exposure and refined her skills for the more exciting challenges ahead.

Her Two Cents

Through her years of experience in the PR industry, Pam has learned that public relations can play a decisive role in boosting investor valuations. Investors who seek a return on investment look for brands with a positive image and a credible and expansive presence. Brands must engage with their customers continuously, demonstrating their core values and forecasting their future success. According to Pam, positive press coverage and exposure are the major factors determining brand reputation. At both the investment and sale stages, demonstrating a solid track record, industry interest, and popular product placement can contribute to a high valuation.

Inspiring Conversations

According to most experts, a good blog produces regular and relevant content. The article may be informative, newsworthy, or entertaining, but it should somehow enrich the life of your reader. A great blog inspires conversation, according to Pam. People love sharing content online, so when they read a blog that speaks to them, they are glad to tell their friends about it and share it on social media. Good blogs don’t go unnoticed!
